- 1 teaspoon chili powder

- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley or cilantro, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the Skillet: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Sauté Vegetables: Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Brown the Beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until it is browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes.
- Add Seasoning and Tomatoes: Stir in the diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and bring to a simmer.
- Simmer: Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 5-10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro if desired. Serve hot over rice, pasta, or in tortillas.
